My Story

Discovering a person’s true need and designing creative solutions through iterative processes makes me love what I do. When we can make a positive difference in someone’s life through human centered design, it’s an extraordinary feeling

My experience is in product ownership and digital product design. I work closely with customers and users to find what their needs are and create a vision to help accomplish their job to be done. This consists of researching an opportunity, unearthing insights through ethnographic and interview studies, defining goals and vision, ideating around insights, prototyping solutions and testing with real people (and repeating!). 

My career began in the front lines, handling home insurance claims in Baltimore City. I had the privilege of helping customers with real life problems face to face in their environment and finding ways to get them back to normal. This experience gave me an appreciation for the service industry and deep perspective of what its like to see a product being delivered and used in real time by the customer. It has been the backbone of my career.

I have since worked through various manager, analyst, product owner and designer roles, striving to make the human experience better in each role.
